Of those 4, 2 people got sick to stomach later that night. 2 orders were immediately thrown away, and the other 4 eaten. ![]() Kicker to the story - the food was terrible on ALL dishes, presentation AND taste. Really?! Lunch kabobs are over an hour now? No apologies, no offer of discount, nothing. The checks come out, that’s right, the checks, before our food! The head of our party went inside to let the manager know - oh well was the attitude, “your party had a kabob order”. At 1250 several of us now have to leave - leaving 2 behind to get our food if it ever arrives. At this point lunch is over, so we tell her to just pack everything to go. She comes back at 1240 and she says ours are still being worked on. By this time, 2 other parties who arrived after us are actually eating. At 1230, we flagged her down, she went to check. 1215, we have not seen the server or had no word on our meals. It was a mid-week lunch, party of 6 and we are only group in restaurant - we sat outside. I am going to provide the short version and you can guess the details were just as bad. Beautiful young lady that was very thorough in answering our questions. The other two ordered the steak combo for 2-chicken, steak, short ribs, and sausage. Another ordered stroganoff, which was very so-so, and Ceasar salad, ok. One ordered the kabobs and plantains, which were delish. What we got was fried cheese, but she swore it was chicken. Ordered empanadas, which were good, and Little Chicken Thighs, which we called the server over to tell her they had given us the wrong appetizer. But, we didn't have a reservation, so ok. We sat at a bar-height table (we're all seniors) with shaky-leg stools. restaurant was empty, but later did fill up. with no reservation and they said they only had one table available. Some examples are: smoked sausage, pork spare ribs, bacon wrapped chicken, filet mignon, ribeye, top sirloin, rack of lamb and chicken parmesan.īefore starting with the meats, there are two types of gourmet buffets. So putting the object, usually a card, on green, gives the Gauchos the okay to continuously come to the table with a variety of quality meats that are fire roasted, most times, in charcoal. There will be a red and green object at the table where green means keep the meat coming, and red means stop because you're completely full. Once seated, the server explains everything. First, when people arrive at the restaurant, meat waiters dressed as Gauchos (Brazilian Cowboys in a sense) from Southern Brazil walk around to tables with knives and skewers with various types of meats speared and ready to eat. A Churrascaria and a typical Steakhouse are different in many ways. Brazilian Steak Houses, also known as churrascarias, are a meat lovers dream. ![]()
